My 36 Weeks of Pregnancy

Posted by Azira at 11:35 PM 0 comments
Minggu ni usia kandungan dah masuk minggu ke 36..

The baby is 34 weeks old. The baby measures about 33cm (13 inches) from crown to rump and weights about 2.75kg (6 lbs). No doubt the mother has noticed a change in the baby's movement by now, as the uterus is getting very tight for space. The baby may wriggle about less because of this constriction, but his movements will generally be stronger and more defined. The mother will be able to see the outline of certain body parts such as an elbow or a heel appearing under the skin!

By this stage, most babies will have assumed the head-down position ready for birth. This MRI scan shows the baby resting with its in the lower part of the uterus.. (Dr. Anne Deans - Your Pregnancy Bible)

At the end of this week, your baby will be considered full-term. (Full-term is 37 to 42 weeks; babies born before 37 weeks are pre-term and those born after 42 are post-term.) Most likely she's in a head-down position. But if she isn't, your practitioner may suggest scheduling an "external cephalic version," which is a fancy way of saying she'll try to coax your baby into a head-down position by manipulating her from the outside of your belly.

Big Apple Donuts

Last Sunday, we went for window shopping at OneUtama Shopping Centre, Damansara Utama. We dropped by to Big Apple Donuts & Coffee to have some donuts. Hmmm.. it seems so delicous.. So, we decided to have a dozen of donuts with RM17.90
The customer very busy to pick any choice of donuts
There are many choice of donuts

A box of a dozen yummilicious donuts

9 of 12 donuts.. what happen to other 3 donuts?? sudah kena mkn dlm kereta lg.. hehehe..

Glaze with cocoa puffs. Sweet and chocolate crunchy on top.

Oreo powder on top. I find this just so so and I could not really smell and taste the oreo.

American Almond. The glaze then topped with crunchy almond flakes.

This is the Walnut - dark chocolate glazed with chopped walnuts on top of it.

This is the Cocoring which is topped with Belgian dark chocolate.

The donuts were sweet, and to be fair, pretty good. The fillings were generous, and the dough very soft and airy, yet for some of the flavors the toppings were crispy. It was really satisfying galloping the donuts one by one… and each one of them brought surprises because of the different taste… something which you can’t do with Dunkin Donuts because they are bigger and slightly harder.

My 32nd Weeks Pregnancy

Posted by Azira at 8:39 AM 1 comments
Minggu ni usia kandungan dah masuk minggu ke 32.. Cepat betul masa berlalu.. I have another 8 weeks to deliver the baby.. Amat mendebarkan..

Week 32 of Pregnancy...

The baby is 30 weeks old. The baby measures about 29cm (11½ inches) from crown to rump and weights about 1.8kg (4 lbs). All the baby's five senses are working and he can now show off a new skill - turning his head from side to side. His organs are continuing to mature, his toenails are complete, and hair on his head still growing. He continues to practise opening and closing his eyes , but he sleeps 90 to 95 per cent of the day.

The baby's 'breathing lessons' continue to help his lungs to strengthen and mature. Recent studies have shown that this vital practise also encourages the lungs to produce more surfactant, the protein that's essential for the lungs' healthy development.. (Dr. Anne Deans - Your Pregnancy Bible)

As the pregnancy progresses the mother continue to put on weight and maybe doing faster than at any other time in the pregnancy. The uterus is approaching the highest position it will reach, with the top sitting about 12cm (5 inches) above the belly button.
